Notorious and pioneering on the Montpellier street art scene and nourished by intense graffiti practice, Salamech is a specialist of the street, posing a careful narrative on the urban environment. Salamech draws his inspiration from everyday life. At the heart of his creations are torn posters, metal shutters, advertising billboards; all urban matter which he transforms into artwork. Between words and materials, colours and layering, the artist draws us into a dialogue.

Salamech's artistic practice focuses heavily on the distortion/fragmentation of language. This exciting artist decomposes words and recomposes forms and motives.
